As part of its 75th-anniversary celebration, MSPC Certified Public Accountants and Advisors has committed to supporting Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation as its charity of choice. The full-service accounting and consulting firm with offices in New York and New Jersey selected the organization after an in-depth process to identify an organization that aligned with their interest in helping children. Their involvement began with intense momentum in the form of a donation of $10,000. The contribution is a result of a fundraiser at their annual golf outing and anniversary dinner.
In addition to making a financial impact, the Firm had pledged to donate time. To launch this initiative, their staff participated in a team-building event where they made decorations for a luau-themed party. The luau is one of many events Children’s Specialized Hospital holds for their patients and their parents, providing a few moments of escape for families where fun is a rarity. This activity was just one of the many events MSPC plans to participate in. Their internal community services committee, plans to volunteer throughout the year through MSPC-sponsored events and by offering support to the Hospital’s initiatives.
